Tale

He has worked on several films in which Gary starred
Appears in Graham Norton i gosti: Kristin Scott Thomas/George Takei/Claudia Winkleman/Jamie Oliver/First Aid Kit (2022).
This is stylized Cold War espionage work in a modern setting - and it's very entertaining to watch
Gary Oldman plays the quintessential grumpy old curmudgeon, an MI5 spy left over from the Cold War (and exiled to Slough House) who still parries shadows and spot real threats before anyone else.
Another well-realized show that creates its immediate world with details on setting, characters (and deceptions) - the essential building blocks of a good story
If you've only just come across the show with the release of season 2, do yourself a favor and watch season 1 first - it's a good story and will provide a depth of characters and situations that will give you even more enjoyment.
Highly recommended - Oldman and Kristin Scott-Thomas are great, as are Jack Lowden and Saskia Reeves
Season 2 seems to have taken it to a new level in terms of production design and cinematography - it really paid off and elevated the show above the usual weekly episode grind television.
